What I Love About The Crescent Hotel Weddings
Here’s the thing about working across so many venues: you start to notice which ones were designed with event production in mind and which ones were designed as a hotel that also happens to have a nice ballroom. The Crescent Fort Worth is very clearly the former.
The flow between the event spaces just makes sense. It’s easy to picture how a couple’s guests will move through their evening, from ceremony to cocktails to reception, without a single awkward transition or confusing hallway. That’s not something every venue can offer, and as a planner, it’s one of the first things I’m looking for.

What also stands out is that The Crescent isn’t just thinking about your wedding day. They’re thinking about your wedding weekend. There’s a full fitness center with workout classes, an in-house Canyon Ranch wellness spa (more on that in a minute, because I have thoughts), and enough excellent bar and restaurant options on property and just outside the door that your out-of-town guests genuinely never have to get in a car if they don’t want to.
It’s the kind of venue where you can build an entire staycation experience around your wedding, and I love that for my couples.

I’ll be honest, this space stops me in my tracks every time. The Conservatory is a 4,270 square foot glass-enclosed room with 16-foot ceilings, giving you every bit of that light, airy, greenhouse-style romance everyone’s chasing right now.
The added benefit is that it’s fully enclosed and air conditioned. If you’ve planned or attended a Texas wedding, you know exactly why that matters. It’s one of the only venues in DFW where you get that dreamy, botanical ceremony feel without gambling on the weather or sweating through your dress by 6pm.
The Crescent Ballroom

This is your blank canvas. The Ballroom has just enough architectural detail to feel elegant without dictating your design direction, and because it sits right next to the Conservatory, the flow from ceremony to reception is seamless.
- 4,000 sq ft, comfortably holds up to 400 guests
- Floor-to-ceiling doors open to the event courtyard for effortless indoor-outdoor flow
- Fully private. No sharing the transitional space with other hotel guests
The Gallery
Tucked just off the Ballroom with a full wall of windows overlooking the green space of the Kimbell Art Museum, The Gallery is one of those spaces that does more than people give it credit for at first glance.
It’s an obvious choice for cocktail hour, but I’d also love to see a couple use it for lounge seating, a custom hat bar, or a photo booth setup during the reception. It holds up to 140 guests, so there’s real square footage to play with here.

The Studio (Your Groom’s Suite Solution)
This might be my favorite insider find from my experience with The Crescent. So many couples run into the same issue with other venues: no dedicated space for the groom and groomsmen to get ready or hang out during the day, which usually means renting a second suite you only need for a few hours, or the guys end up camped out somewhere that wasn’t built for it.
At The Crescent, one of their meeting rooms, The Studio, can be reserved for exactly that with your event space rental, set up more like a lounge than a meeting room, with seating that creates a comfortable atmosphere. It’s a small detail that saves you money and headache later, and most couples don’t think to ask about it until after they’ve already booked somewhere else.
Getting Ready Suites
The hotel suites themselves deserve a mention too. They’re spacious, beautifully lit (your hair and makeup team will thank you), and make for a genuinely calm morning before you head downstairs to your ceremony.
Extending the Fort Worth Wedding Weekend: Welcome Drinks, Rehearsal Dinner & Brunch, All On Property
This is where The Crescent really pulls ahead for me. A wedding weekend isn’t just the ceremony and reception, and this hotel has genuinely thought-out spaces for everything surrounding it.

The Circle Bar is the natural spot for welcome drinks the night before. It’s the social heart of the hotel, serving everything from espresso in the morning to a full cocktail list by evening, with live music on Friday nights. Gathering your out-of-town guests here before the wedding is such an easy, low-lift way to kick off the weekend and let everyone meet before the big day.
Emilia’s, the hotel’s Italian-inspired restaurant (and a 2026 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence winner, for the wine lovers in the family), is one of my favorite rehearsal dinner recommendations in Fort Worth. The open kitchen and seasonal patio give it a relaxed, energetic feel, and their private dining options make it easy to keep things intimate.
The Blue Room is the one I’d point to for a post-wedding brunch. It’s a more sophisticated private space, well suited to a smaller, slower morning-after gathering where you actually get to sit and talk about the dance floor antics from the night before before everyone heads home. It’s an easy way to close out the weekend on a high note instead of everyone scattering after the reception.

How Much Does a Crescent Hotel Fort Worth Wedding Cost?
Your cost for the venue will be largely driven by food and beverage, which typically runs between $160 and $300 per guest, plus service charges, an event space fee, and tax. As a starting point, I recommend a wedding budget of $150,000 at minimum, though $175,000 to $250,000+ of course gives you more range and flexibility depending on your guest count and design vision.
The venue pricing includes quite a lot, honestly:
- A complimentary suite for the couple on their wedding night
- A dedicated event manager
- Special room rates for your guest room block
- House tables, chairs, table linens, white napkins, and bar setups

The Conservatory Can Be the Statement
If you’re drawn to that greenhouse, garden-party aesthetic but don’t want to deal with the risk of an actual outdoor wedding, stop your search here. The Conservatory checks every box. Keep your florals and design intentional rather than trying to over fill and compete with the architecture. The great thing about the space is that it can be used for your ceremony, reception, or both!
Book The Studio Early
Make sure your planner (hi!) confirms it’s part of your rental contract from the start. It’s a detail worth locking in rather than assuming.
Plan a Wellness Morning
The in-house Canyon Ranch wellness club + spa is genuinely a perk worth building into your weekend. A “Wellness Morning with the Bride” for you and your girls the day before is such a nice way to start the celebration off relaxed instead of rushed.
Take Advantage of the Neighborhood
This is a big one, and it’s a huge part of why I’m so excited about this venue.

Why Location Actually Matters Here
When couples are choosing a wedding venue, I always tell them to think beyond the room itself. Your guests are going to be in town for a whole weekend, not just a few hours, so where you land matters. The Crescent sits right in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District, and that location does a lot of heavy lifting for your guest experience.
A few of my favorites within easy reach:
- The Chumley House — Directly across the street. This is one of my personal favorite restaurants in all of Fort Worth, with a Michelin-recognized hospitality group behind it and an ambiance that genuinely can’t be beat. It’s a fantastic rehearsal dinner option if you want something walkable and memorable off -site.
- Terry Black’s Barbecue — A 4-minute drive. Perfect for giving your out-of-town guests their Texas barbecue fix!
- The Kimbell Art Museum — A 4-minute walk. A stunning collection with rotating exhibitions, right in your guests’ backyard for the weekend.
- The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth — Also a 4-minute walk, home to Cafe Modern’s monthly “First Friday at the Modern” with live music, drink specials, and free gallery admission. A great recommendation for any guests not attending your rehearsal dinner the night before.
- Fort Worth Botanic Garden — A 5-minute drive, and a lovely, family-friendly day trip option in a naturally beautiful setting.
- Fort Worth Stockyards — A 10-minute drive through downtown, for guests who want that quintessential, historic Texas experience during their stay. An iconic site!

What I love about this is that your guests genuinely get to experience every side of Fort Worth without much effort at all. They can spend a day getting that true Texas stockyards experience, wander a walkable, art-filled cultural district in the evening, and then get to retreat to a quiet, elegant hotel to sleep it all off. That’s a Texas wedding weekend experience, not just a wedding day at a nice hotel.

If you gave me free rein in the Ballroom, I know exactly where I’d go: a swanky, Casino Royale-inspired evening. Lush fabrics, loungey vignettes tucked into corners, dark and moody lighting with table lamps and candlelight instead of anything too bright or bare. Dark drapery to build that high-end social club feeling, a checkered dance floor, personalized playing cards as favors, and yes, live casino tables for guests to roll the dice well into the night.
